Zimbabwe’s Flying Bantu delivered a standout performance in South Africa on 25 April, headlining the Manutsa Mountain Festival in Limpopo and reaffirming their reputation as one of the region’s most dynamic live acts.
The Victoria Falls outfit brought their signature fusion of Afro-rock, funk, reggae, jazz and indigenous rhythms to a packed open-air crowd, transforming the mountain setting into a night of energy and connection.
Held from 24–26 April at Cape Vulture Lodge and Nature Reserve, the festival continues to build its identity as a meeting point of music and nature. The immersive experience blends live performances with camping, art installations, and local cuisine, drawing a growing international audience.
This year’s edition also spotlighted conservation, supporting efforts to protect the endangered Cape Vulture, with over 700 breeding pairs found in the reserve.
Taking to the main stage, Flying Bantu delivered a high-impact set, with audiences singing along beneath the mountain skyline—marking one of the festival’s defining moments.
