Reigning Mister Supranational, Dr. Fezile Mkhize, embarked on his first international tour as titleholder last week, choosing neighboring Namibia as his inaugural destination. The tour highlights the unique bond shared between South Africa and Namibia in areas such as culture, society, and environment.

Upon his arrival in Namibia, Dr. Mkhize was warmly welcomed by Mister Supranational Namibia, Malan Van den Berg, along with Namibia’s Mister Supranational national director, Willem Fourie, and the 2025 Mister Supranational Namibia candidates, who are set to compete for the title in February. Dr. Mkhize, affectionately known as “Dr. Fezi,” exchanged insights with the aspiring candidates, as well as Namibia’s current Mister Supranational, before heading off to his scheduled appointments.

Dr. Fezile made history as the first Mister Supranational to begin his international tour in Africa, marking a milestone for the pageant. During his visit, he attended the 5th Hermosa Mimosa event, organized by Miss Supranational Namibia 2022 and “Our Women for Substance” founder, Dr. Julita Kitwe. This initiative supports young women aspiring to enter the medical field. As a seasoned doctor with a decade of experience, Dr. Fezi addressed the audience, discussing his work with the Sasakawa Leprosy initiative, a cause close to his heart.

The highlight of his tour was his appearance at the Magazine Life Style Fashion Awards 2024 in Windhoek, where he was welcomed on a vibrant red, black, and blue carpet. The event drew significant attention as eager fans awaited to see and hear from the “King” of Mister Supranational. Dr. Fezile’s Namibian visit has left a lasting impression, reinforcing his commitment to his platform and to inspiring others across the African continent.
