Raza is set to start in three one-day international matches at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. The three ODI matches are scheduled for 6, 8 and 11. The team will proceed to date for the T20I fixtures on the 14th, 16th and 18th of January.
The ODI series squad members are include, Ervine Craig (captain), Akram Faraz, Burl Ryan, Gumbie Joylord, Jongwe Luke, Kaitano Takudzwanashe, Kamunhukamwe Tinashe, Madande Clive, Masakadza Wellington, Mufudza Tapiwa, Munyonga Tony, Muzarabani Blessing, Ngarava Richard, Raza Sikandar, Shumba Milton
And for the T20I, Raza Sikandar leads as captain, joined by Bennett Brian, Burl Ryan, Ervine Craig, Gumbie Joylord, Jongwe Luke, Kamunhukamwe Tinashe, Madande Clive, Masakadza Wellington, Mumba Carl, Munyonga Tony, Muzarabani Blessing, Ndlovu Ainsley, Ngarava Richard, and Shumba Milton.
The matches are set to be a test not only to the team but to the interim coach Chawaguta.
“Obviously, we have come from a bad space as a team and as Zimbabwe cricket in general, with the team not playing to expectations…So here we have sat down, we have had chats since (last week’s regional games in) Bulawayo and everyone is ready to turn things around.” He added
