Several schools in the past at Whange Central Constituency have been forced to close temporarily due to water supply related problems.
The story will never be the same as the 2022 project, that focuses on the installation of water retention tanks which are prominently known as JoJo Tanks in various Public Schools at local communities’ levels is being implemented.
210 constituencies across ZIMBABWE were allocated 11.4 million RTGS for Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
After the leaders of Whange Central consulted with residents an agreement was made that the CDF disbursement be used to by the water tanks to supply local public schools within the Constituency.
According to Thulani Moyo, the spokesperson of Whange Central Constituency, Member of Parliament, Hon Daniel Molokele, he stated out, that at least 12 local communities have benefited from this project now.

Sir Humphrey Gibbs Primary, Makwika Primary, Lusumbami Primary, Mabhinga Primary, St Ignatius Primary, Lwendulu Primary, Nechibondo Primary, St Georges Primary, Hwange High, Wankie Secondary, Kalope Secondary, St Patrick’s hospital.
