Botswana’s creative arts industry set to benefit from the partnership between the government of Botswana and Steve Harvey global.

Mr Harvey was in Botswana for the launch of Studio 4 at Mass Media Complex, through which he will facilitate the development of local content, using home grown skills and facilities.

The purpose of the studio is aimed at facilitating the local creatives to harness talent and create employment opportunities and help those left jobless by COVID19, explained the president.

Mr Harvey in his remarks said his main aim is to provide relevant international training by bringing television trainers and professionals from across his network, also bringing the opportunity to be part of the Family Feud television show for all African countries with Botswana as the production hub.

The President, Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, said Botswana is a democratic state with strong institutional culture of expression of opinion and that it was within the rights of citizens and interest groups to question government decisions or seek redress.
