R’n’B Talent Shannon Impresses Music Icon Timbaland
Shannon is a budding singer worthy of note. She hails from Zimbabwe and is currently based in South Africa.
Some of the singles she has released include “You Will Pay” which is a steady track influenced by 1990s R’n’B. The track has gentle instrumentation and has Shannon’s smooth vocals gliding effortlessly across the song. The lyrics speak of a woman who warns her partner of the vengeance that will come his way for the pain he caused her.
“Birds” is a single that speaks on how a woman’s partner makes her feel like she could fly. The song has intricate riffs which display the songbird’s vocal agility and delicate vocal tone.
Recently she was hailed by award-winning Zimbabwean R’n’B magnet Trevor Dongo for her contribution to his latest album, “Seasons”. Shannon features on the single, ‘Distance’ in which she more than holds her own next to one of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated artists.
