Prominent Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, was among the world-famous stars invited to perform and attend the grand wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man.
The lavish wedding festivities spanned several months, featuring performances by a number of international artists, including Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
Rema’s energetic performance of his hit single, “Calm Down,” was a highlight of the celebration. The audience sang along and danced to his infectious rhythm, creating an unforgettable experience.
The couple’s elaborate wedding included pre-wedding festivities like an engagement party, a pre-wedding party, a cruise party, a music night, a wedding party for the underprivileged, and more.
Other distinguished guests at the wedding included former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Kim Kardashian, and John Cena, and business leader Strive Masiyiwa.
While Mukesh Ambani, currently ranked tenth on the list of the world’s richest people, owns businesses across various sectors, including manufacturing, petrochemicals, oil and gas, telecom, retail, and financial services. He also holds the distinction of owning the world’s largest oil refinery, the Jamnagar Refinery in Gujarat, India.
Reports suggest that Rema received a cool $3 million for his performance at the wedding, while Justin Bieber reportedly commanded a staggering $10 million.
