From the east to the west to the north and to the south Zimbabwe is surely a World of Wonders. A peaceful environment and some favourable weather defines our unique tourism package. With volumes and volumes of water, Kariba is the largest manmade lake ever to be seen in the southern region of Africa. Thus, it has over a hundred islands scattered about it. Some of the popular islands includes Fothergill, Sampa Karuma, Spurwig, Starvation, Antelope, Bed, Maaze and Snake Island. At the time of the damwall’s completion it was the largest artificial dam in the world. Tourists will be caught between the Kariba Heights or Matusadonha National Park which is situated in the shores of the vast lake.
Taking the road and making dust we head for the Eastern Highlands which has the most enthralling and breathtaking landscape. Accordingly, the Mutarazi Falls Skywalk and Skyline has one of the highest zipline in Africa at large. The skywalk holds steadfastly on two suspension bridges therefore tourists will feel like they are on top of the world. Whilst treading the zipline, one can have a panoramic view of the Mutarazi National Park and Nyanga National Park as well.
Layers upon layers of stones, Great Zimbabwe is the biggest fortress ever in Africa to date. The house of stones comes with sculptures like the Zimbabwean Bird which were found at the cynosure. The famous Chevron Motif design has since been adapted on our pottery, huts, airport and the national fabric. A National Monument a World Heritage Site. It was the capital of the Kingdom of the Zimbabwean monarch during the late Iron Age. In regards to the Great Enclosure and the Conical Tower, Great Zimbabwe is a site for sore eyes.
