Bata Kenya has set a new record by producing the largest pair of shoes in its history—size 21 UK—for Bradley Mallongo, famously known as ‘Bradley the Goliath Gen Z.’ Standing at an extraordinary 8 feet 2 inches, Bradley has faced significant challenges throughout his life finding shoes that accommodate his towering height.
Thanks to Bata, he now has two custom-made pairs that fit him perfectly.
The footwear giant created two unique designs for Bradley: The classic Safari boot and a pair of sleek black leather formal shoes, ensuring both style and comfort.
This milestone underscores Bata’s commitment to innovation and its ability to meet the unique needs of all customers, regardless of size.
Benson Okumu, Managing Director of Bata Kenya, shared his pride in the company’s accomplishment.
“At Bata, we believe no customer’s need is too big—or too small. Bradley’s journey inspired us to push the boundaries of shoe design and production, and we’re honored to have crafted footwear that offers him comfort in both casual and formal settings.”
This achievement further cements Bata Kenya’s status as a market leader, proving that the brand’s expertise goes beyond the ordinary to serve customers from all walks of life.
