
Kigali, Rwanda, is set to host the inaugural Global AI Summit on Africa from April 3-4, 2025, bringing together world leaders, businesses, academics, and policymakers to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can drive Africa’s economic transformation.
Under the theme “AI and Africa’s Demographic Dividend: Reimagining Economic Opportunities for Africa’s Workforce,” the summit will focus on harnessing AI innovation to mobilize investment, shape strategic policies, and enhance Africa’s global competitiveness.
With Africa home to the youngest and fastest-growing workforce, the continent has a unique opportunity to position itself as a key player in the global AI ecosystem. Discussions will highlight AI’s potential to boost industries, create jobs, and foster inclusive growth, while also addressing governance, safety, and ethical considerations.
Participants at the two-day event will have access to:
