This move aims to unlock greater opportunities for citizens of both nations, fostering mutual prosperity.

The Kenyan President hosted Ghana’s President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, for high-level discussions centered on enhancing intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The leaders explored strategies to leverage the trade pact to drive economic growth and regional integration.

President Ruto also expressed gratitude to President-elect Mahama for his public endorsement of Hon. Raila Odinga’s candidacy for the African Union Commission Chairperson position.

In a gesture of solidarity and support, President Ruto confirmed his attendance at Mahama’s upcoming swearing-in ceremony in Accra next month.

The strengthened partnership between Kenya and Ghana reflects a commitment to advancing Africa’s development through collaboration and shared vision.
