Africa’s fashion world is buzzing ahead of the 9th Abranzy Style and Fashion Awards (ASFA), set for 19 December 2025 at the Kampala Serena Hotel. This year’s edition promises to bring together the full spectrum of the continent’s creative industry—from designers and models to musicians, makeup artists and media.

Founded in 2013, the ASFAs have grown into one of Africa’s biggest fashion-honouring ceremonies, known for elevating trailblazers and amplifying emerging voices. What began as a modest event has evolved into an exclusive gala spotlighting 20 influential creatives shaping fashion, arts and culture.

The runway lineup includes South Africa’s multi-award-winning icon David Tlale, debuting a much-anticipated new collection, alongside Uganda’s rising stars Sheba Kagami, Rasi Kasozi and Brian Ahumi. Their combined showcase will highlight bold prints, modern silhouettes and East African flair.

Entertainment will feature Ugandan artists Warafire, Tyra Chantey and Ridoman, with Rwanda’s Kevin Wade adding soulful vocals to the night.

The ASFA honorary gala will also celebrate the industry’s unsung heroes—photographers, stylists, models, media professionals and musicians—recognising the teamwork that drives Africa’s creative ecosystem.

With glamour, star power and cultural pride, the 9th ASFAs are set to deliver one of the continent’s most unforgettable fashion moments.
