Popular Zimbabwean musician Baba Harare recently announced a substantial transformation in his music career.

“To all my fans and followers. I have been on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. Thank you for being my support network, and above all, my partners on this musical journey,” he expressed on his social media platforms.

Baba Harare revealed that he will be transitioning from Secular to Gospel music as part of his personal journey.

“I want you to be the first to be informed that as part of my metamorphosis, my music will also be changing. I will be transitioning from Secular music to Gospel music. I hope to take you along with me on this new and exciting journey. God Bless,” he added.

Fans and followers are totally flabbergasted. Most are finding it hard to believe that Baba Harare is transitioning from secular to gospel music. Many are wondering if this shift is bringing a change in name too as the name Baba Harare has its roots and is synonymous with Jiti.

“Working on the REPENTANCE album has been one of the most exciting yet difficult process of my life. The album is autobiographical in parts, reflective in some but above all it is my gift of truth, my truth to you hama dzangu. I cannot wait for July to share and minister to you in praise and worship,” shared Baba Harare.
