Zimbabwe will compete in Group B at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. All Group B matches will be played in Sri Lanka, where Zimbabwe will face Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Oman.

The tournament will run across eight venues in India and Sri Lanka, with the final set for 8 March at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the world’s largest cricket venue. The 20 participating teams are divided into four groups of five, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Eights.

Group A has India, USA, Namibia, Netherlands, Pakistan, while in Group B, Australia faces Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman, and in Group C, England are favorites with West Indies, Bangladesh, Italy, and Nepal. Group D will see South Africa take on a tough line-ups of New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada, and UAE.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta said the 2026 edition is expected to usher in “a new era of global cricketing events”, with unmatched fan experiences and one of the most competitive fields in the tournament’s history.
