Zimbabwe’s innovation spirit continues to make waves on the global stage with Enactus Bindura University of Science Education (Enactus Buse) which secured the second place at the 2025 Enactus World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand recently.
The student-led team impressed judges and peers with their projects, showcasing the power of entrepreneurial action in transforming communities.
The remarkable achievement came after Enactus Buse triumphed at the Zimbabwe National Championship earlier this year. Riding high on that momentum, the team stormed into the World Cup final, defeating perennial giants such as Germany, Tunisia, USA, and Ghana along the way. Their victory highlighted not only the team’s ingenuity but also Zimbabwe’s growing reputation as a hub for youth-led solutions addressing global challenges.
Enactus, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, brought together thousands of students, educators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in Bangkok under the theme Generation: Re. From 25–28 September 2025, the competition became a vibrant arena of collaboration and creativity, where changemakers from across the globe showcased innovations with lasting social, economic, and environmental impact.
Their participation at the World Cup was made possible through the support of The BOOST Fellowship Zimbabwe, an organization dedicated to enterprise development and innovation, and Delta Corporation Limited Zimbabwe, which continues to invest in empowering young entrepreneurs.
