Born in Soweto, he displayed exceptional talent from a young age, earning distinctions at West Ridge High School and making history as the first student to receive full colors in drama at just 17.
During his nearly two-decade-long acting career, Sebeng made significant contributions to the industry. He made his television debut on “Justice For All” and “Zero Tolerance,” both of which garnered multiple awards.
Throughout his career, he appeared in various shows such as “Bay of Plenty,” “Scandal,” and “The Throne,” but it was his role as Tsietsi in “Winnie,” where he met renowned actors Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard, that truly highlighted his talent. Sebeng’s breakthrough came with his lead role in “Ring of Lies,” earning him a nomination for “Best Male Actor” at the 2018 South African Film & Television Awards. Additionally, he showcased his skills on Netflix shows like “Savage Beauty” and “Miseducation.”
