The BiG Africa Summit is gearing up for its 12th edition, returning to Gaborone, Botswana, from 16–19 February 2026, with organisers promising its most impactful event yet. According to a press release from Eventus International, this year’s summit will introduce expanded programming, high-level speakers, and new breakout seminars tailored to Africa’s rapidly evolving iGaming landscape.

The summit will again be hosted at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort and is expected to attract regulators, operators, tech innovators, investors and gaming executives from across the continent. Botswana’s fast-growing gaming market will take centre stage as the host nation showcases new opportunities for investment and regulatory collaboration.

A major addition to the 2026 agenda is the introduction of four concurrent breakout seminars, the African Regulatory Seminar, African Operators’ Seminar, SPiCE Up Diversity Seminar, and Ethics and Compliance Seminar. These sessions are designed to offer deeper, specialised engagement on pressing sector topics, from responsible gaming and regulatory frameworks to diversity and technological innovation.

The event will also feature an expanded exhibition floor, structured networking sessions, start-up showcases, and an awards ceremony celebrating leadership and innovation in Africa’s gaming ecosystem. Among those expected to headline are senior executives and regulators from Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, and the wider region.

Returning features include the Welcome Reception, Fast-Track Connections Evening, and the BiG Excursion and Farewell Dinner, all aimed at strengthening partnerships and driving regional collaboration.

Nominations for the BiG Africa Summit Eventus Awards, which honour excellence across five categories including innovation, sustainability, and leadership, are now open.

Registration and exhibition opportunities are available via the summit’s official website.
