Natasha Muz, a fast-rising Zim Hip-Hop female sensation, gave her fans an early Christmas gift of an incredible EP packed with eight tracks on the 3rd of December, much to the anticipation of her music fans.
The EP, titled Alpha, comprises tracks such as It’s Over, Jokodo, Kanda Matombo, Tora Mari, Kundisaiza, Let It Go, Khama Billiat, and Hapamihwe Mihwe. All the tracks were written by Natasha Muz and produced by four different producers.
The Chitungwiza-bred artist is breaking barriers and going against the odds as one of the few female musicians making it in Zimbabwe’s male-dominated Hip-Hop genre. Natasha Muz, whose real name is Natasha Muromba, does not only focus on Hip-hop but also delves into Afrobeat.
“I did this particular EP to inspire myself and other female artists,” said Natasha Muz.
In one of the tracks, Tora Mari, she talks about how everyone, in any place, is hustling to get money and encourages people to work for themselves to achieve financial stability and fight poverty. In another track, Jokodo, she highlights how some people can be controversial and cause problems in her life by wreaking havoc for no specific reason. Despite this, she continues to work hard and fight for the betterment of her life.
Natasha has been in the music industry for some years now and is still going strong, much to the joy and appreciation of young girls who see her as a role model and draw inspiration from her. She has featured artists such as Holy Ten and Dboi on some of her songs, which, along with her new EP, are available on her YouTube page. The artist has promised more music to her fans, who are always eager to listen to her songs as they carry deeper messages and important life lessons.
