Zimbabwe is set to host the 6th edition of Transform Africa Summit which is scheduled to kick off on the 26th of April in Victoria Falls.
The majestic city is set to host President Mnangagwa and other African heads of state including, President Paul Kagame, President Lazarus Chakwera, Senegalese President Macky Sally, His Majesty King Mswati III, and Zimbabwe’s North neighboring country Zambia’s Head of State President Hichilema.
Also, other heads of state, ministers, captains of the ICT industry, and innovators are expected to convey the majestic city.
Confirming the news was Zimbabwe’s minister of ICT Dr Jenfan Muswere. Who informed Zimbabwe’s public media, during his site inspection, that all preparations are going well for the summit.
“I am doing a final inspection today as we ensure that we have a successful, Transform Africa Summit 2023. As for today the most important part is to ensure that we finalize preparations, nothing is outstanding and all types of equipment are here,” said Minister Muswere.
The Transform Africa Summit is expected to be hosted until the 28th of April.
In addition, at least more than 100 countries will be represented by 3000 delegates during the summit which will be hosted at the Elephant Hills Resort.
This is the first time for the summit to be hosted outside Rwanda since it was launched in five years.
The purpose of the summit is to elevate the transformation by discussing innovative solutions and strategies for advancing digital transformation.
