Multi-Award International Artist, Hosts Acting and Performance Classes.

Tafara Nyatsanza is a multi-award winning-talented Zimbabwean, who is a role model to many local and international young people in the arts industry.
He plays the role of Banji in the Hollywood horror /action film the ‘Beast’ where he plays the role of a tour guide and game ranger. In the film he stars along with multi award-winning international actor Idris Elba.
The film is based on a story by Jaine Primak Sullivan.
By casting in the film, he did not only added another good recipe in his CV but he added his name in the family of international -Zimbabweans who are flying the country’s flag high international.
Tafara also played the role of Tendai in the popular South Africa’s Netflix production, ‘Blood and Water.’
Nyatsanza appeared in a new, 263Africa media entertainment programme, ‘Unplugged Voices,’ which will be aired earlier this year and peeled up some details about his journey and challenges that artists face in the entertainment industry.
Award winning actor, Tafara Nyatsanza, revealed that he obtained his BA in Theater-making in the University of Capetown where he then joined an acting agency.
He stated that it benefited him to acquire education as it sharpened his talent.
“Definitely getting education in the theater benefited me because it taught me how to take it to extra-mile and how to have technique and skills that are required to execute the work needed. I believe that training is important for everything,” said Tafara .
He further revealed that part of the challenges that are faced by artists including himself must be in line with finance as in the arts industry it’s rare for artists to be taught about finance issues.
When he was questioned what it meant for him to star in international roles such as in the film, ‘Beast’, ‘Spell’ and ‘Blood and Water’. He said it’s a sign that he is on the right path.
Currently, the Fleur du Cap Theater award winner, Tafara Nyatsanza is hosting acting and performance classes in the capital city of Zimbabwe, Harare.
The acting and performance classes are running for at least 18 weeks and are being hosted at Theater in the Park in collaboration with Joe Njagu.
Classes begin on the 7th of February and will be hosted every Tuesday’s until Fridays from 10am_1pm.
