Zambia’s Luay Latif is making waves at the Mister Supranational 2026 competition, strengthening his bid to become the country’s first-ever winner of the international title.

Latif has already made history as the only African contestant to win the Supra Chat semi-final, a key segment that evaluates contestants on communication, authenticity and leadership rather than physical appearance.

The achievement places the Zambian among the standout contenders ahead of the grand finale and has drawn growing support from pageant fans across Africa and beyond.

During his winning interview, Latif spoke confidently about Zambia, his personal journey and his vision for representing Africa on the global stage. His performance highlighted the qualities expected of a Mister Supranational titleholder and earned him widespread praise.

A victory in Poland would mark a historic milestone for Zambia, which has never produced a Mister Supranational winner, while further raising the profile of the country’s male modelling industry.

Latif also carries the hopes of the continent. Africa has produced only one Mister Supranational title holder to date, Fezile Mkhize, and the Zambian model is now among the strongest contenders to bring the crown back to Africa.

The Mister Supranational 2026 final will take place on 1 August in Poland, where reigning titleholder Swann Lavigne will crown his successor.

As the competition reaches its climax, Zambia and the continent will be watching closely as Luay Latif pursues a place in pageant history.
