Windhoek — It was a night of celebration, history, and storytelling as President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah joined President Duma Boko of Botswana, family, friends, and Namibians from all walks of life at the premiere of “Netumbo: A Leader Beyond Politics.” The premiere took place at Ster-Kinekor, The Grove Mall in Windhoek, drawing a star-studded audience eager to witness the life story of Namibia’s first female Head of State.

Produced by Joe Vision Production House in partnership with MultiChoice, the documentary chronicles President Nandi-Ndaitwah’s remarkable journey, from her humble beginnings in Onamutai Village to the frontlines of the liberation struggle, and her rise as a symbol of leadership and resilience.

During a Q&A session, President Nandi-Ndaitwah underscored the importance of investing in the creative industry, expressing her dream of seeing Namibia establish its own film city. “Our stories deserve to shine on the world stage,” she said, inspiring applause from the audience.

Joe Vision Production described the film as a celebration of leadership and vision. “We’re deeply honoured to have captured this inspiring journey and extend our heartfelt gratitude to Her Excellency for trusting us to tell her story,” the company said in a statement.
