Johannesburg, Gauteng – Africa’s biggest Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation event, AI Expo Africa, will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre from October 30-31, 2024. Now in its seventh year, the event brings together global and regional thought leaders, startups, and major tech companies to showcase the latest AI innovations and practical applications.

AI Expo Africa 2024 will feature over 100 exhibitors and more than 60 speakers, focusing on real-world AI solutions across industries. Attendees will include enterprise and government buyers, service providers, educators, NGOs, investors, and ecosystem builders.

Nonnie Kubeka, Executive Director of the Gauteng Convention & Event Bureau, expressed her excitement about hosting the event, stating, “AI is impacting all industries, and it’s crucial that the Gauteng region continues to play a key role in this sector.”

Dr. Nick Bradshaw, founder of AI Expo Africa, highlighted the significance of the event, noting, “This year marks our 7th Anniversary Edition and our biggest show yet. We are thrilled to welcome global players like Supermicro, Nvidia, Huawei, and Google, along with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which will host an AI4Good Africa startup pitching session.”

The event will also introduce the AI for Good Impact Africa Summit in 2025, with a focus on applying AI to address the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

AI Expo Africa remains the premier platform for networking, learning, and collaboration in the AI sector across Africa.
